Volunteer

Many homeschool families spend one day a week in the spring and fall helping us run tours and do projects around the farm. In the process, students learn more about Oregon History, public speaking and community service. Volunteers of all ages are welcome with a parent onsite. Volunteers aged 12 and up may volunteer without a parent. Download volunteer information and form here.

Schedule a Tour

Groups of 30 or more can schedule a tour April through October. Smaller groups can be added to existing tours (see our calendar and look for "PLT room for..." tours), or can schedule a private tour during our summer open hours.

Drop in for a Visit

We are open daily 11:00-4:00 Father's Day through Labor Day, and weekends in May and September. Bring the family down for a picnic and spend some time on a log cabin, tour the house, barn and store, buy a little corn to grind and enjoy the Farm at your pace. There is no admission charged, but a $3.00 donation is appreciated.
