Volunteers at the FarmCurriculum Sale

Seller Information (printable pdf version)

1) Tag your sale items

BE SURE ITEMS ARE MARKED UNIFORMLY AND TAG IS TAPED SECURELY TO ITEM.

Tags are included in the seller information sheet. Each tag contains 5 lines of information:

Top line: your initials

Line 2: Item Number (this enables person checking off items on inventory lists to find the item quickly going down your list in numerical order.

Line 3: PRICE (Please mark clearly. When changed, the lower price is what
will be used at the cash register.) Only use $.25 increments to reduce need
for small change. Either group 2 items together to = $.25 or put FREE on
them if they are less than $.25 in value.

Line 4: Grade level

Line 5: Name of item to compare with inventory list so we can know we are
marking off the correct item on the list, and so that if the tag falls off, we know what to look for to place it back on.

Use sufficient scotch tape that tags won't fall off. ANY ITEM NOT LABELED
WILL BE PUT ON THE FREE TABLE.

Download printable instructions and forms in Word 97-2003 or PDF format.
Please use the form. If you wish to use colored ink or colored paper, that makes it easier sorting items after the sale. If for any reason you can't access these forms, please email us.

Tape the tag on your item along the left side only. At time of purchase, the second tag will be cut off so we can keep track of what you sold and so the customer can have a tag still attached to the item purchased.

Please mark all your items in 25-cent increments. If you have any items for
FREE, they still need to be marked with your initials and item name like
your other items. They will be returned to you if no one takes them. We
cannot dispose of unwanted items.

2) Make an inventory list of what you are selling, using the same numbers and information as on the tags. We need a copy of this list for the sale or items will not be included in the sale. As items are sold, they will be crossed off this list. It will be returned with your unsold items and payment at the end of the sale.

Categories include: Preschool, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Junior High, High School, Parent Resources, Children's Books (i.e. picture books, chapter books), Unit Studies, and Manipulatives (i.e.audio/visual, games, kits, maps).

3) Drop off your boxes and containers of curriculum (already marked for sale), along with your inventory list, at the entrance of the sale no later than
10:30 A.M. Sign your name and phone number on the sign-in list in case I
need to contact you after the sale. Volunteers will receive your books and
distribute the items to the correct tables.

Please have your boxes and/or containers well marked with your name and
phone number if you would like them back. Some customers need boxes to hold their purchases so unmarked boxes will be used for customers.

You can then relax and chat with others until the sale begins, take your family through the Philip Foster Farm, or return later. Please make sure your children either stay with you or where they are not in danger of cars.

There will be no early entry. Only volunteers will be at the tables prior
to the sale. Visit http://www.philipfosterfarm.com/currsale for a list of volunteer positions available and email us if you'd like to volunteer.

4) Collect your money and unsold items

Your unsold items will be collected and available for you to pick up between 2 and 2:30 P.M., along with your list, showing what sold and the money collected for your sold items. NOTE: To speed payment to sellers the same day, we are going to accept only cash payments for items purchased. Remember your cash!
