Visit the Country Store!

Our charming store is a replica of Philip Foster's original enterprise.  We stock the store with  items similar to what Foster would have provided to the arriving pioneers.

Toys, games, candy, household goods, books, textiles, clothing, etc. ranging from the 1800s to the early 1900s are available.  We also stock local hand-crafted items such as candles, knitted and woven goods, woodcraft items, iron work, and even local honey and home-made jams.

Enjoy a visit to our Philip Foster Farm store in Eagle Creek during our open hours, or call for special arrangements to open the store 503-637-6324.

The Barlow Road audio driving tour CD features 20 pioneer sites to visit along the original "last leg" of the Oregon Trail from Mt. Hood to Oregon City.  Listen to pioneer diary excerpts as you view the same sites, hear descriptions from a pioneer descendant, and the USFS archaeologist for the Mt. Hood National Forest, with narrative history and  tales, all accompanied by wonderful traditional music.  $9.95

Another audio driving CD, A Feast for the Senses, is a 2-CD set with three driving tours of the area. Learn about towns and interesting sights along Mt. Hood Territory's back roads including the Willamette Valley, cross the Willamette River on the charming Canby Ferry, and visit historic cities such as Willamette, Oregon City, Lake Oswego, Estacada, and other small towns.
